Princeton Prof. Richard Falk, U.N. Human Rights Rapporteur

Tuesday, October 26th, 9-10 a.m. Pacific (noon-1 pm Eastern) on http://NoLiesRadio.org, to be archived here a few hours after broadcast...

Guest: Richard Falk, United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights, and Professor Emeritus of International Law at Princeton University; (co-)author/editor of more than forty books.

Richard Falk is one of the great truth-and-justice figures of our time. An enthusiastic endorser of the work of David Ray Griffin, Dr. Falk once made headlines by calling for a study of the neocons' role in 9/11 on my radio show. His work on behalf of the human rights of the Palestinian people has drawn fire from the likes of Alan "Professor Torture" Dershowitz.

Richard Falk pulls no punches describing the Iraq war, saying it is "inescapable that an objective observer would reach the conclusion that this Iraq war is a war of aggression, and as such, that it amounts to a Crime against Peace of the sort for which surviving German leaders were indicted, prosecuted and punished at the Nuremberg trials conducted shortly after the Second World War." (Note: I have been attacked for making this point and standing by it.)

Concerning David Ray Griffin's latest book Cognitive Infiltration: An Obama Appointee's Attempt to Undermine the 9/11 Conspiracy Theory (my review here), Richard Falk writes:

"David Ray Griffin has written a devastating critique of Cass Sunstein's major effort to situate all critics of the official 9/11 story in the garbage pail of 'conspiracy theory.' Bringing to bear his formidable philosophical and theological skills, Griffin brilliantly illuminates this cognitive/political concern, demonstrating that the American people will never find out what really happened on that fateful day until we as citizens insist on considering all available evidence with a fresh and open mind."
