"Cheesehead Churchill" interviews Churchill; Richard Heinberg says "the party's over"

Fri.  11/30/12, 3-5 pm Central,  American Freedom Radio  (archived here.)

First hour guest: My fellow ex-prof witch hunt target - academic freedom icon Ward Churchill.

Five and a half years ago, Wis. State Rep. Steve Nass launched his witch-hunt against me, calling me "Wisconsin's Ward Churchill." So maybe it's time for the Cheesehead Churchill to talk to the original - who knows a thing or two about political witch hunts!

On September 11th, 2012, newspapers reported that Ward Churchill's appeal to the Colorado Supreme Court had been rejected. (The Orwellian perps obviously picked that date for propaganda purposes.) Time for an appeal to the Supreme Court? Or maybe just a revolution?

Second hour: Richard Heinberg says we've just about reached reached peak everything - the era of economic growth is finished - the party's over! But, he adds, nobody is allowed to say that.

Mainstream environmental organizations don’t want to mention any of this because they don’t want to be pilloried as “anti-growth” or “socialist” by right-wing politicians and powerful "free"-market "think" tanks. The president won’t touch it with a forty-foot pole, for the same reasons.

From his bio: Author of ten books, including The Party’s Over, Peak Everything, and The End of Growth, Richard Heinberg is widely regarded as one of the world’s most effective communicators of the urgent need to transition away from fossil fuels. With a wry, unflinching approach based on facts and realism, Richard exposes the tenuousness of our current way of life and offers a vision for a truly sustainable future.
